Students Create Award-Winning Video that Highlights Career Technical Education

Jesse Chiem and Nathan O’Meara, students of Fort Vancouver High School, Vancouver, Washington, designed a video that won a Gold Medal at the SkillsUSA 2010 National Championship Event under the Video Product Development category. Fort Vancouver High School programs highlighted include: culinary arts, welding, video production, horticulture, medical magnet, fashion marketing, graphic design, and entrepreneurship.

SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit career technical student organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.
