The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) now has a new website for the Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP). Educators familiar with this taxonomic scheme of instructional programs will be able to search for CIP codes using keywords, crosswalk the 2000 and 2010 CIP, and help those who report data to the Integrated PS Education Data System (IPEDS), among many user-friendly choices.
